A few of us pilots, who are EAA members, got together several years ago and decided to initiate a local chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association for the Martinsburg, West Virginia area.  We were successful and have been fully certified, incorporated, etc. as EAA Chapter 1071.  Our current membership stands at 50 and is growing.  Chapter 1071 members are professional pilots, cabinet makers, welders, technicians, retired persons, but all have one goal in common: sharing our enthusiasm for sport aviation.  We have a Chapter newsletter which is published for members once a month.  And we want to continue this growth, hence this notice.
